Assignment of additional measures for the Ergoldsbacher Level RS®

According to the Central Association of German Roofers’ pamphlet on sub-roofs, sub-coverings and under-bracings, and the basicregulations of the Roofers’ Guild, regular roof pitch 16° when laid in a cross bond pattern and 22° when laid in rows, minimum roofpitch 10°; according to the state-of-the-art of science and technology.
Country-specific building standards and/or regulations must be adhered to, if no other contractual agreements have been made.

Increased demands due to
Use: of the attic level, especially for residential purposes (residential use equals two increased demands)
Construction: special roof shapes (e.g. butterfly roof), long spar lengths (longer than 10 meters), heavily structured roof shapes (e.g. due to valleys, gables, etc.)
Climate situation: exposed locations, extreme locations, areas with a lot of snow, special weather situations, areas with a lot of wind
Technical installations: On-roof or in-roof systems, air-conditioning systems, antenna systems, roof access systems, rooflight/skylight
systems, snow guard systems, etc.

* The additional measures listed in the table are minimum measures under consideration of Table 1 in the pamphlet on sub-roofs, sub-coverings and under-bracings. Sub-covering panels are to be assigned according to the classification in the pamphlet on sub-roofs, sub-coverings and under-bracings. Increased demands make up categories according to chapter 1.1.3. Further increased demands can arise out of the weighting within a category according to 1.1.3. For example, climate situations can result in several increased demands. Only permitted if the manufacturer provides proof of the functionality and safety of the products used, including accessories (sealing tapes, sticky tapes, sealing compounds, pre-assembled seam securing, etc.), as part of a deluge test and 24-hour rain test on a roof pitch of 15°. Otherwise, the next class up is to be selected. Any limitations noted by the manufacturer are to be taken into account. 2023: Ergoldsbacher Level RS®

Pure design for shallow roofs – flat, square-edged, raintight for pitches starting at 10°

The Ergoldsbacher Level RS® is already the third specialist for shallow roofs. What is striking about this tile is its clear, square-edged form. What is significant about it is its deep interlocking joints on all sides with triple head and side locks. Due to this special design feature, the water on the tile surface is channelled away perfectly. That way, even on shallow roofs (laid in cross pattern: standard roof pitch 16°, minimum roof pitch 10°); the substructure stays dry. The new Ergoldsbacher Level RS® is the real solution: a raintight roof tile that does not need a waterproof sub-roof!
